As the writer, director, star, and editor of the micro-budget horror-comedy feature OH, THE HORROR!, Joey gained recognition on the festival circuit. Following its success, he is now developing two upcoming horror features with a notable executive producer and sales company attached. With a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Florida, specializing in Machine Learning, plus bachelor's degrees in Statistics and Theatre from Florida State University, Joey bridges the gap between art and tech. He believes the future of AI should empower creators rather than replace them, driving Waffle Video's mission to create a fair and innovative marketplace where creatives can thrive in the evolving technological landscape. This philosophy drives Waffle Video's mission to create an innovative marketplace where filmmakers can actively participate in and fairly benefit from AI's evolution. With a M.A. in Entrepreneurial Producing and Innovation from the New York Film Academy, he brings a unique perspective to the intersection of content creation and emerging technology.
